The 4-in-1 Silicone Soap Mold: Four Shapes, One Easy Pour

The Azlok 4 Cavity Circle Square Oval Heart (4 in 1) Shape Silicone Mold lets you make four different soap shapes—square, circle, oval and heart—in a single pour. It is a flexible, non-stick silicone mold that is safe up to 230°C, so you can use it for cold and hot process soap, melt-and-pour bases, candles, bath scrubs and more. At around ₹149 for a single mold, it is an easy first tool for beginners and a handy extra for regular makers.

What you can make with it

This mold is more versatile than its name suggests. Because silicone handles heat and releases cleanly, the same tray works for several small-batch projects.

  • Handmade soap: melt-and-pour glycerine soap, and cold or hot process recipes.
  • Candles: pour soy or paraffin wax to make shaped votives and embeds.
  • Bath and body: sugar or salt scrub bars, and shaped bath melts.
  • Craft and kitchen: wax melts, resin trinkets, or even chocolate and jelly if you keep a mold aside only for food.

Each cavity holds roughly 100–120 gm of soap, so a full mold gives you four finished bars in four shapes. That variety is useful for gifting, festive hampers or testing which shape sells best for a small business.

How to use the mold

  1. Prep your base: Melt your soap base or wax gently, then stir in colour and fragrance oil once it is off the heat.
  2. Place the mold on a tray: Silicone is flexible, so set it on a flat baking tray before pouring. This keeps the shapes even and makes it easy to move.
  3. Pour slowly: Fill each cavity close to the rim. Tap the tray lightly to release trapped air bubbles.
  4. Let it set: Allow melt-and-pour soap to firm up for a few hours at room temperature. Cold process soap needs 24–48 hours before unmoulding, then weeks to cure.
  5. Unmould: Flex the silicone gently and push from the base. The non-stick surface releases the soap without cutting or greasing.

Tips for cleaner results

  • For candles, warm the mold slightly before pouring wax to reduce surface lines.
  • A quick spritz of rubbing alcohol on the poured surface pops stubborn bubbles in melt-and-pour soap.
  • If you want sharper edges, chill the filled mold in the fridge for 20–30 minutes before unmoulding.
  • Keep one mold reserved for food use only if you plan to make chocolate or jelly.

Safety and care

Silicone is heat-resistant up to 230°C, but the contents you pour can still burn. Handle melted wax and hot soap batter carefully, and work in a ventilated space when using fragrance or essential oils. Cold process soap involves lye, which is caustic—wear gloves and eye protection, keep it away from children and pets, and never rush the curing time. Do a small patch test before using any new fragrance on skin, and do not ingest craft soap or candle materials.

For cleaning, the mold is dishwasher-safe, but a rinse with warm soapy water and a soft cloth works just as well. Avoid sharp tools that could nick the surface. Store it flat or loosely rolled, away from direct sunlight, so it keeps its shape.

Buying and pack options

The mold measures about 16 x 3 x 17 cm and weighs around 100 gm, making it light and easy to store. Azlok offers it in single, 2, 5 and 10 mold packs, so you can scale up if you make soap in larger batches or run a small brand. Colour may vary—if red is unavailable, another colour is dispatched, which does not affect performance. It is made in India, which keeps the price friendly at ₹149 for a single mold.

FAQ

How much soap does each cavity hold?

Each of the four cavities holds roughly 100–120 gm of soap, giving you one square, one circle, one oval and one heart bar per pour.

Can I use it for candles as well as soap?

Yes. The silicone is safe up to 230°C, so it works for soy or paraffin candles, wax melts, scrubs and resin, in addition to soap.

Is the mold safe for the oven and microwave?

The material is microwave, dishwasher and oven-safe up to 230°C. Always place it on a rigid tray for support and handle hot contents with care.

How do I get soap out without breaking it?

Let the soap set fully, then flex the silicone and gently push from the base. The non-stick surface releases cleanly without greasing.

Will I always receive a red mold?

Not necessarily. Azlok dispatches an alternative colour if red is out of stock. The colour does not change how the mold works.
