The price of citral depends on its purity and odour quality, the grade, the pack size and freight. Aroma chemicals for fine perfumery are checked more closely for odour and colour than material meant for incense or soap, and that shows in the price. - Is natural citral more expensive than synthetic?
- Citral isolated from natural oils such as litsea cubeba usually costs more than synthetic citral, and supply depends on the crop. Check the product page for the source, and buy natural only if your formula or claim needs it.
- How do I get a bulk price for citral?
