The Azlok Bubble Candle Making Kit lets you make the trendy cube-and-bubble candles at home from a single box, with no need to source wax, wicks, moulds and fragrance separately. It comes with a 3D bubble mould, white beeswax pellets, mica colour powder, three fragrance oils, wicks, a beaker, spatula, gloves and more, so a beginner can pour a finished candle in an afternoon. It is priced at ₹899 and is available in packs of 1, 2, 5, 10 and 50.
What's inside the kit
This is a complete starter set, which is handy because buying each item on its own usually costs more and involves more guesswork. The kit includes:
- 3D and 2D bubble candle moulds for that signature stacked-sphere shape
- White beeswax pellets (250 g) that melt cleanly
- Mica powder to tint your candle
- Fragrance oils in Lavender, Jasmine and Orchid (10 ml each)
- 5 pre-tabbed candle wicks with 5 wooden wick holders
- A beaker, spatula, wooden spoon and a pair of hand gloves
Because everything is measured for a small batch, it's a good way to learn the process before you scale up.
How to make a bubble candle, step by step
- Melt the wax. Use a double-boiler method: place the beeswax pellets in the beaker and set the beaker in a pot of hot water. Stir gently with the wooden spoon until fully melted. Never heat wax directly on a flame.
- Add colour. Sprinkle in a small amount of mica powder and mix until you get an even shade. Start light; you can always add more.
- Add fragrance. Once the wax has cooled slightly off the heat, stir in a few drops of Lavender, Jasmine or Orchid oil. Adding fragrance when the wax is too hot can burn off the scent.
- Prepare the mould. Set your wick in place using the wooden wick holder so it stays centred and upright.
- Pour. Slowly pour the wax into the bubble mould, keeping the wick straight. Pour at a steady pace to reduce air pockets.
- Cool and unmould. Let the candle set fully at room temperature, then gently release it from the flexible mould. Trim the wick to about 5–6 mm before lighting.
Tips for a cleaner finish
- Let candles cure for a day or two before burning; the scent throws better.
- Don't overheat the wax. If it smokes, it's too hot.
- Wear the included gloves while handling warm wax and mica powder.
- Keep the wick centred and taut, otherwise the flame burns unevenly.
- Wipe the mould clean and dry before reusing it for the next pour.
Safety notes
Molten wax and hot water can cause burns, so work on a stable surface and keep children and pets away while pouring. Fragrance oils are for scenting candles only, not for skin application or ingestion. Melt wax in a well-ventilated space and never leave heating wax unattended. When you burn the finished candle, place it on a heat-resistant plate, keep it away from curtains and drafts, and never leave a lit candle unattended.
Buying and storage tips
Pick the pack size that suits you: a Pack of 1 is ideal for a first try or a gift, while the larger packs of 5, 10 and 50 make sense for workshops, festive hampers or a small home business. Store leftover wax pellets and mica powder in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and keep the fragrance oil bottles tightly capped so the scent doesn't fade. You'll find the Bubble Candle Making Kit and other candle supplies on Azlok, made in India.
FAQ
Is this kit suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. It includes pre-measured supplies and simple tools, so you can follow the melt-colour-scent-pour steps without prior experience.
How many candles can I make from one kit?
The kit contains 250 g of beeswax and 5 wicks, so you can make a few small bubble candles depending on the size of your mould and how you portion the wax.
Can I mix the fragrance oils?
You can blend Lavender, Jasmine and Orchid to create your own scent. Add fragrance in small amounts once the wax has cooled slightly off the heat.
Why did my candle turn out uneven or bubbly?
This usually happens when the wax is poured too hot or too fast, or the wick isn't centred. Pour steadily at a moderate temperature and keep the wick straight with the wooden holder.
How should I store leftover supplies?
Keep wax pellets and mica powder in a sealed container in a cool, dry spot, and cap the fragrance oils tightly to preserve their scent.
